Fun and Engaging, project-based learning Holiday Programmes

This half term, we are excited to offer three dynamic online Project-Based Learning (PBL) holiday programmes. These programmes are designed to provide your child with the opportunity to continue their learning in a fun, engaging, and hands-on approach, while letting them take centre stage in their education.

Our innovative PBL approach allows children to explore their interests, develop critical skills, and tackle real-world problems through creative projects. Join us for a holiday of discovery and growth, where learning goes beyond the classroom and into the heart of imagination and curiosity.

What is project based learning (PBL)?

Project-Based Learning (PBL) is a teaching method where children learn by actively engaging in real-world and personally meaningful projects. Instead of just reading about a subject or filling out worksheets, students work on a project over an extended period. This project involves researching, problem-solving, and creating a final product that demonstrates what they've learned.

Benefits of PBL Over Traditional Learning:

  • Engagement: Children are more engaged and motivated because they are working on something that interests them and has real-world relevance. This makes learning fun and meaningful.
  • Deeper Understanding: Instead of memorising facts for a test, children develop a deeper understanding of the subject. They see how different concepts connect and apply in real life.
  • Skill Development: PBL helps children develop important life skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving. These skills are essential for their future education and careers.
  • Ownership and Responsibility: Children take more ownership of their learning because they have a say in the project and how they approach it. This fosters a sense of responsibility and independence.
  • Creativity and Innovation: PBL encourages creativity and innovation. Children get to think outside the box and come up with unique solutions and ideas.
